DH and I have been remodeling our kitchen since November, and ended up firing the last guy we signed a contract with because it took him 4 months to get us our cabinets and every detail was a nightmare. Getting a hold of him was next to implossible. Looks like contractor # 2 is about to be old news, too, because his phone now goes straight to voicemail, which of course is full, and when I DO reach him he asks if he can call me back, which he doesn't. Sounds hauntingly familiar of guy #1.
Can you please recommend someone who does granite countertops, who you've actually worked with, and would work with again if you needed to? I just need someone reliable!
Re: Please recommend your granite contractor
Ugh.. HATE bad contractors!
We bought our granite through Lowe's who uses Top Line (based out of Pennsauken). We had our granite template made a few weeks ago, but then found out our color was on backorder. It took a few weeks for it to come in, but I think it was out of their control. We okay-ed the slabs on Tuesday, and it is scheduled for installation a week from tomorrow. Even though there have been a few hiccups, the customer service has been impeccable.
Since my H works at Lowe's, I know that Lowe's is very particular on who they give their jobs to and constantly do follow-up customer surveys. I guess Top Line has proven to be reliable. GL!
