Damn Birds!
Does anyone remember me posting last spring about my crazy neighbor who had paper, tape, and sheets hanging on her front porch? And then came to the conclusion it was to scare the birds away and stop them from flying into the window?
Well it must have worked (or we're no longer invisible to them on our side of the street) because now they're all on my porch making a mess! Not only do they constantly hang out on our car mirrors jumping into them and crapping all over the place . . they're also flying into our full glass door out front. There is bird crap all over the front porch and smeared all over the window. Blah! I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and overcome my usual dislike for chimes so I can hang some on the front porch in hopes it will help scare them away. These things are crazy . . you should see them dive bombing into the door. I feel like I'm in that Alfred Hitchcock movie, The Birds.

I think they are coming to my house too! I have some bird trying to make a nest in my wreath on the front door so every time I open the door it flies away scaring the crap out of me every time...I'm waiting for it to fly in the wrong direction one of these days and into the house. I have bird crap all over my porch and patio furniture. It is so gross!!! I may have to try the wind chime idea too.

I got some cheap but not too too ugly chimes at Christmas tree shoppes yesterday (Lesli - they're $5 and are nice and plain if you're interested . . nothing crazy like seashells or anything lol) and so far no bird sightings today. Crossing my fingers it works . . and I can eventually take the chimes down.
