Back from 1st appointment!
And everything looks great, thankfully!! 
Baby is looking good, hb was 173 bpm, and I'm measuring 2 days ahead...my new edd is 11/28.
What a relief! It was amazing to see everything on the u/s and to hear the hb. DH couldn't believe how fast the hb was! Funny thing, my OB is going on maternity leave in a few weeks...boy am I glad it's now and not closer to Nov! I can't stop looking at the u/s pics...it's just so crazy and unbelievable. DH says it looks like a cashew haha! I have to schedule my NT scan (it's done at a different office) for around 12wks, but my next OB appointment is a month from now. Exciting stuff!

I'm so glad the appointment went well. I can't believe you already have a picture - so exciting!
How are you feeling? Any better? I've heard rumors it gets better around the 9th week.
I'm feeling better, thanks! Ever since Saturday or so the nausea has been better. Food still isn't that appealing, and I still have food aversions (like vegetables
). But, all in all, I hope this is finally an upswing!
Food aversions sound rough, but at least you can eat now! Nausea is my least favorite thing ever. Not looking forward to that.

Just an fyi...the h/b usually slows down a little as the baby grows. Our was at 174 at 8w and was already down in the 150s at the NT scan.

My sister had veggie aversions in the first tri as well, but once she hit the 2nd she was good to go. Same thing happened with my vegetarian friend. She had to eat meat the whole time she was PG. thats all that baby wanted! lol
