*ESF* re: Antisemitic Minister?
Hey ESF,
I don't know if you saw my post below. You mentioned something about Palin's minister making anti-semitic remarks. Could you elaborate (with links if possible)? I don't remember this being a topic on the board.
Thanks...
And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this Rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.
Re: *ESF* re: Antisemitic Minister?
I think this is the part that she was referring to:
I am way late to this, but yes, this is the problematic piece. He says this quote while blessing Palin for public service.
I just find it incredibly hypocritical of her to condemn Obama for sitting in Wright's church listening to occasional offensive remarks made about stuff generally, when a blessing designed especially for her is this hateful. If she's going to criticize Obama, she should have to answer to why she let the minister bless her with such remarks.
Ok, maybe I'm pretty dense, but I do not see an anti-semitic remark here. Maybe I'm reading this incorrectly, but I take those remarks as a compliment to the Israelites. It sounds to me like he's saying that the Israelites are men and women of integrity, no?
