First day back to work

Today was a really rough day, emotionally for me. Bella was SUPER needy and I was a wreck. Today is my first day back to work since all of this and I'm hoping it's a tear free day. Yesterday I cried at the grocery store for no good reason, just out of no where, starting crying. I'm sure the people there thought I was crazy. I'm hoping to at least make it to my car at 7:30 tonight before I breakdown again... Cross your fingers for me, please...

Re: First day back to work

  • Fingers and toes crossed for you...sending vibes that you have a surprisingly good day. Just to let you know that you are not alone at crying for no good reason. You actually have a good reason for crying on a dime.

  • I hope it goes as well as it can.  And yes, you have every reason to cry whenever you want!  I know you want to make it through the day and feel normal though.  Here's everything crossed for you!

  • aww i am sorry... i hope you are ok.  just remember that your hormones are all wacky right now, just like they were right after you gave birth...your body is trying to return to some type of normalcy hormonally so being super emotional is totally normal and there is nothing wrong w/having a good cry for no reason.  *hugs* i hope the day goes quickly for you
  • Hi Sarah. I agree with PP that your hormones are trying to regulate themselves right now.  It still doesn't make it easy though.  Do your best, that is all you can do.  We are all thinking of you, you are strong and have a great support system, hang in there :)  Big hugs to you!

  • (((Hugs))) FWIW, I think you have a very good reason to cry.  Don't fight it and don't worry what other people think.  They're not living your life.  Emotions aside, you also have hormones to deal with which is a double whammy.  Hang in there mama!

  • I'm late, but I hope it went okay.  I totally agree about the hormones being out of whack, just like postpartum.  Thinking of you and hoping you feel better soon.
