Welp my face broke my camera and now I need a new one.
I'll take any and all recommendations as I'm not sure exactly what I want, but I do want a good one that'll last longer than 2 frickin years!
Please and thanks!
Re: Recommend Your Camera...
What are you looking for your camera to do?
I have a neat one that R got for me to keep in my purse . . . its a camera and video camera. Its also submersible . . . it was a lot of fun to take on our honeymoon to Maui. It's really simple and easy to use, but the shape of it is a bit awkward. Its a Sanyo Xacti.
I guess every camera I've owned is cheap in every aspect so anything has to be an upgrade.
Picture quality is huge in my book since I love doing photoshop projects with them. I like the option of having video on it as long as the quality is there as well. Of course different light settings would be a must.
I think I'm looking more for a compact 'toss in your purse' style of camera more so than a more professional style of camera.
Other than that, I really don't know.
Thanks Katie for your rec!
I recently had to replace my very expensive nikon that i had for a year for this one....

I really love it. I did a lot of research before I bought it. They have a 12.1 mp for a little cheaper too.
Ditto on this camera! We bought my mom this one for Christmas and she LOVES it. It takes awesome photos, and the video is really good quality too.
I know I'm late to this, but I have 2 cameras.
Sony Cypershot: For carrying around all the time and just photos with friends
Canon Rebel XSi: For scenery and really detailed pictures. I'm really into photography so I have this to learn.
I recommend the Cybershot for you. My sisters and I all have it and love it.
