wow, lots of popular brands and models!!
i have to say that the brand I got (Mondi), while not as well known as some, has never had a recall and that was one particular reason why we chose it.

yikes, scary - especially when I lurked on the national boards I saw that so many people do get the Lauren crib.
same, but we went with a million dollar baby line (babymod) b/c it didn't have a drop side and that company has never had a recall either.
Yup, we were planning to get the Graco Lauren too! It got good reviews on Baby Bargains and was a good price. Then DH's grandmother said she would buy the crib and so we splurged on the Munire Urban. Good thing!

Yup! We bought the static crib one. It's called the convertible crib and there's no drop side and it's not on the recall list. But thanks for posting these links! It's always good to keep up on what's being recalled.
