BR: convertible carseat for compact cars rave!

RAVE for the Combi Coccoro.  We moved the True Fit (I still really, really like it) to DH's car and installed the Coccoro rear facing in the MIDDLE seat of my VW jetta

J is getting so tall that we almost need to put the headrest on the True Fit.  It was installed behind the passenger seat and already made the passenger seat have to be moved up really far.  Adding the headrest probably would have turned the passenger seat into storage only.

We tried out all the nice seats in stock at Babies R Us and none would fit any better and none even came close to fitting in the middle.  Glad we took a chance on the Coccoro :)

Jack seems to like it (we strapped him in for a while to check fit).  It does have lower weight/height limits than other convertibles but by that point he will be forward facing and I won't have to worry about fit in my small car so much.

Re: BR: convertible carseat for compact cars rave!

  • Thanks for the tip!  I've got a VW Rabbit (yay for VWs!) and, while I think it has decent backseat space for the car's overall size, I was concerned about car seats.
