Knorr's Pasta Sides + Shrimp

lizandjosh09 recommended this in the Go To Dinner post a few days ago.  DH and I tried it last night it was delicious.  I'm doing weight watchers and for half the container (large portion of pasta and 12 shrimp) it was 6.5 points and counted as 1 serving of veggies and 1 lean protein!  And DH wants to put in on our regular list!

For those of you who missed it, you make Knorr's pasta side (we used Knorr's Side Plus - Olive Oil type sauce with spinach and broccoli bits) as directed.  In the mean time throw frozen cooked shrimp in some water to defrost.  And then you put them in with the Knorr's side when about a minute is left.  So yummy!

  • Sounds good, and really easy! We eat those Knorr's pasta things somewhat frequently and I've never thought of just adding meat to them.
  • Sigh, I so wish DH liked shrimp!!!
  • So glad that it worked out for you! It's also very good to add chicken to if you have time to cook it (this is a good alternative for the non-shrimp lovers). You may even be able to add the pre-grilled, diced chicken that I believe they sell in the sandwich meats section.
  • I am OBSESSED with the Knorr's Pasta sides, I think they used to be called Lipton's Noodles and Sauce or something like that. Anyway I NEVER would have thought to do that, what a great idea!!! TY!
