Full Moon- how does it affect you?

OMG!!! School is crazy this week, the students are wild, wacky, cranky you name it.  It's not just my class, it's throughout the school.  Sounds like an old wives tale, but seriously you can always tell when a full moon is close.

So have any of you had any full moon werid experiences?

Re: Full Moon- how does it affect you?

  • I thought the full moon was a few days ago?  When I went to work early one morning, it was really crazy spooky looking.  :)

Any weird Full moon experiences personally?  I'm trying to think of something, but nothing jumps out at me.....

I can't remember exactly what day it was, but all the kids typically get a little "wild" a few days before until a few days after.  It's like clockwork every month.

  • That is SO crazy!!  I'm sorry that you have the bear the brunt of it all though.  Must make teaching them "challenging" to say the least!!
  • Sala-  my mom, who was a Math teacher, used to say the same exact thing!!  The kids would just go crazy around the time of a full moon!
  • I do not think I really notice

  • There have been studies done that show more women go into labor during full moons.

The ER is always busy and or full of looneys when it's a full moon!
