follow up to "outfit help" post (more PIP)

ok so based on the most popular recommendations both here and through some friends/family I emailed, here are some pics of her in the outfits.... I figure that things always look different on the hanger vs on me when I goes clothes shopping, so why would she be any different? Wink

DH really loves the first two and thinks that the others are just ok looking.

I think that of all of the outfits, I like the pink polo dress on her the least. but between the other 4 I can't decide! and to answer Malia's question from the previous post, we aren't doing another session until her 1st birthday so now is the most "summer" it will be for prof. pics in the aqua/turquoise dress

I emailed my photographer and she said we could probably do 3 outfits instead of just 2 if I wanted to... so what are your thoughts based on these 5 options? and since all of these except for the pink dress are prints, I'm guessing that we should both wear something solid for the family photos? do you think we should do light and spring-ish colors or darker colors so she can stand out next to us? thanks again for the input :)

here is the kimono dress, though it's a little scrunched up on her and I didn't bother to take another pic.

AHHH! SO cute =) Seeing the kimono one on her now makes it my #1 pick (since it was already one of my favs). I still like the turquoise one a lot, so that would be my 2nd pick now. I think I agree with you that the pink polo one is probably my least favorite since it blends in too much with her skin and I think it's probably something cuter to wear in person than for photo-taking. As for the 3rd outfit, I can't decide between the last two. They both look really good on her--IMO, the pink overalls are super cute on her so I'd pick that if you're going for a cuter look and the denim w/babydoll top looks more fashionable/"styling" on her if that's the look you'd prefer. just my 2 cents =) GL, have fun at the photoshoot, and can't wait to see the pics!!

  • The jeans and the kimono outfits are adorable!  And p.s. I got your goodies.  Dh and I have been testing them all out.  You are a great cook!
  • Your baby girl is gorgeous! My picks are 1) turquoise dress 2) jeans outfit. You really can't go wrong with any of the outfits though. I can see why it is so hard for you to choose.

  • I'm all about Christine's choices!
  • I like the kimono style dress, the jeans, and then the turquoise dress

    she's so cute!

  • I like #1, #2, and #5.

  • thanks ladies! I think we will definitely do the kimono dress and turquoise dress and I still need to decide between the jeans or hot pink outfit.

  • I like 2, 4 and 5.  If you go with the jeans and top on her it would look cute if you and B also wore jeans and solid colored tops that pull from the colors in her little shirt (green, yellow, pink, or blue).

    Have fun!

  • DH & I (yep, I polled him for his input!) like the turquoise dress and the jeans/flower top.

Your little one is SO CUTE!

I'm not very good at this but Ithink if the two of you wear solids and she has print she'll stand out so I would do bright spring colors vs. darker.

DH & I (yep, I polled him for his input!) like the turquoise dress and the jeans/flower top.!

Apparently Vance and James think alike. I agre with those choices PLUS the kimono dress. Oh yah, DH & I also agree with the jeans and solid colored tops for you and the hubby. Maybe you wear a pink and he wears a light green or yellow (since I LOVE those colors)

  • imagemrspresley:

This is my first pic. It really pops out and it so cute!

This is my second pic, it's cute and casual and if there's anything from the waist up, it's still a cute pic (I think about that now because I messed up and put her in the dress overall outfit and my fav pic I didn't like the way the outfit looked)

She's SO big! Does she stand up like that or is it just because she's propped? Bella will stand if you hold her hands and has started walking when you hold her hands... I'm excited for her to walk but not so excited too, it means child proofing and constant chasing!

she can't get up on her own but if I prop her up she will stand while leaning against a pillow for anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes :) she can stand if we hold her hands for a very long time though. she will also stand holding herself up on something like the couch but doesn't know how to "cruise" yet; she is just starting to learn to crawl. yeah we aren't ready to child proof things yet!
