1. What was your last vacation? Probably a quick weekend up to Jersey last December to visit with the IL's. We did go up to Jersey a few weeks ago for a business trip gone bad- right as we were up there the training was cancelled due to volcano in Iceland, so I wouldn't really consider that a vacation since it was just a bunch of driving.
2. What is your next vacation? A week at the beach in August, although I'm hoping we'll be able to take a long weekend adventure before then.
3. What was your favorite vacation? probably our honeymoon in Montreal
4. What was your worst vacation? Spring Break in Cancun- I fought with my friends almost the entire time and then ended up getting admitted into the hospital from being so sick
5. What would be your dream vacation? Touring Europe with DH
6. What vacations are you hoping to take in the future? Disney World, Napa, camping, something tropical, and NYC is always on the list.

I'm going to go ahead and say that weekend trips with family aren't vacations (in my opinion) since there's usually zero privacy and I can't do whatever I please. So, just counting trips w/ just DH & I
1. What was your last vacation? A weekend in Charleston in Oct 2008. It depresses me to realize it's been that long, but we didn't want to spend the $ when DH was unemployed. The last time we took more than a day off for any trip was our honeymoon in June 2007.
2. What is your next vacation? A week in St. Lucia!!!!!!! Thanksgiving!!!! SO FREAKIN' EXCITED! We might take a weekend away sometime in Aug/Sept, but this summer is a crazy wedding summer and we'll be traveling a ton anyway so I don't know if we'll be motivated.
3. What was your favorite vacation? Our honeymoon was awesome, a Mediterranean cruise.
4. What was your worst vacation? DH & I have only taken 2 big vacations (longer than a weekend) and they were awesome. The worst trip I've taken was driving to Kansas with my family during my winter break my freshman year of college. I was pretty much over it a few hours in when my brother asked me if I had chicken pox (my face was broken out w/ pimples).
5. What would be your dream vacation? I think it would be awesome to have an RV and go on a road trip and stay at all the national parks and stuff. But I'd only want to do it if there were no time restrictions and we could just come/go when we wanted and make a couple stops at some beaches too. And maybe throw in a couple luxury hotel stays in there for good measure.
6. What vacations are you hoping to take in the future? We need to go to Vegas. Maybe next winter or something. I'd also like to go to Napa Valley/wine country.
1. What was your last vacation? other than weekend roadtrips, our last vacation was Mexico in Oct. '09

1. What was your last vacation? From work? Christmas. Going somewhere? Can't remember-before DH and I got together..we didn't even get a honeymoon.
2. What is your next vacation? Not sure but we are definately taking one this year...even if it is a weekend. I'm thinking Savannah or Charleston. He's thinking Florida for the Harry Potter Theme Park..sigh.

3. What was your favorite vacation? Probably Jamaica for our HM - Couples Swept Away was amazing - and we definitely needed the relaxation!

1. What was your last vacation? Well, the last "real vacation" was to Chicago back in '08. But we've gone to NJ several times since then. Last time was Christmas.
2. What is your next vacation? We are going to NJ for a weekend trip at the end of May. But thats more of a trip to see family, I don't know if I consider it a "vacation".
3. What was your favorite vacation? Chicago was awesome. I'd love to go back. Or our HM to Aruba was fun and relaxing.
4. What was your worst vacation? I don't really know. I love getting away, so I don't know that I've ever had a bad vacation. Last March we visited my brother who is stationed in Nags Head and that was a tad boring since a lot of things were closed, but I still liked getting away.
5. What would be your dream vacation? St Lucia, or Ireland. DH would love to go to Germany.

1. I don't know if you all would consider going to visit family that live in another state a "vacation." Was it time off from work? Yes--1 day, but our trip up to NY/MA this past Christmas sure wasn't relaxing in any sense of the word--as it was, she ruined the one thing we had planned for the trip.
Besides that, the last time we went anywhere that was pretty much ONLY for pleasure was Lake Tahoe 2 years ago for an extended Labor Day weekend.
2. Our next "vacation" is again mostly work related. DH's annual convention is in Philly this year in June, so I'll visit my friends that live in the area during the day and meet up with him at night. After that, we're driving down to VA for a friend's wedding. I really hope we're able to escape for a weekend trip sometime this summer! He's been wanting to take me Charlottesville, VA for the longest time now (he got his masters at UVA).
3. Favorite vacation was our trip to Italy back in 2007. We were with his basketball teams, but I really enjoyed the company and some of the structure the tour we did provided. I would have liked a little more free time, but I really didn't have ANY complaints. (I know not everyone can say the same thing--I do think the fact that DH and I have an Italian last name helped--we always seemed to "randomly" get the nicest hotel rooms!!)
4. Worst vacation was my spring break trip my senior year of college. We always went to Gainesville, FL (University of Florida) for bicycle training. That trip was a nightmare from the beginning. First, something got screwed up with the insurance for the van we were renting and one of the girls was "almost" refusing to go because of that. I pretty much had to BEG her to go (she was our 4th on a 4 man team--we had no subs). Then, we hit hours and hours of traffic, then our spare tire fell off the van mid way down to FL and The Refuser refused to travel any further in the van without a spare tire present. Finally coaxed her back in the van with the guarantee that we would order the spare tire wherever we were and would have it installed back on the van once we got down to FL. Weather was iffy for some days, and again, the Refuser didnt want to go out in rain. Thankfully, most everything happend on the way down--the trip back to Indiana was relatively stress free.
5. Dream vacation? I think I'd love a Meditteranean Cruise. I'd also love to go back to Italy and follow the Giro and explore some of the small Italian villages they pass through. My dream would one day to own a home there--but I don't think that will ever really be feasible.
6. Vacations for the future? Well, I'd really like to plan another trip to the beach--we went to Kitty Hawk a few years ago with a bunch of friends and that was a really good time. I think we are also considering a family vacation to celebrate our parents anniversaries. Though our parents were married in different years, they are both approaching their 40ths. I also know DH wants a ski trip to Italy--but I'd prefer another spring/summer trip there.

1. What was your last vacation?We went to Puerto Rico about 2 weeks ago. It was great.

4. What was your worst vacation? All of our vacations have been pretty good....I'd say the least enjoyable was Dominican Republic for my H, he got sick.
5. What would be your dream vacation? There are so many places I want to go, I don't really have a dream vacation. Probably 10 days in S.Africa, a week in Istanbul, or a 10 day trip to Buenos Aires and Rio .
6. What vacations are you hoping to take in the future? I'm pretty sure I'm visiting Stockholm in July, and Italy in December.
