Screaming baby from 3 am until 5:30 am
Can someone get me a coffee or three?
Happy Monday! And Happy May!
Re: Screaming baby from 3 am until 5:30 am
Not a clue. I took his temp - 96.3...he seemed fine he just didn't want to sleep and every time we laid him in the crib or put him in his swing or tried to rock him, he got pissed off and cried. At 4:30 I put him in his Bumbo and he was happy for a few minutes, then he got pissed off and started crying again. He wouldn't take his bottle either. Finally around 5:15 I rocked him and stuck his bottle in his mouth and he cried for a few minutes but then finally calmed down enough to eat, and then he fell asleep. OMG it was awful. That was probably the worst night since the first night we brought him home.
Aww, poor little buggar. Hopefully it was just a fluke.
Yup. I did that around 3:30 or 4...it's all a blur.
It's so hard when they are that small to figure out what's going on. He just wanted extra cuddles, must be
)
Haha. Probably.
My mom had him the night before because H and I went to Chicago, and she said he didn't sleep at all. He was up every hour or two, just happy as can be, screeching and talking and giggling...but not sleeping. So I wonder if his sleeping schedule got mixed up and think that he just wasn't tired. I don't know. I just hope he is back to normal tonight. He has been sleeping straight through from 9:30 till 7 every night lately.
Oh I hate that.
I know you said he didn't have a fever, but when Ben has had his 2 ear infections sleep disturbances were my first clue since he didn't get a fever at first. Laying down can be painful, and keep them awake for long periods of time. Hopefully it isn't that, but just something to keep in mind.
I will definitely check his temp again when we get home.
Hmm. Gas is my guess too. Poor guy/poor you!! I also like the laying on back and bicycling the legs solution too.
Ooh yes! And google "I love you massage" - I cant remember the correct way to do it now but it was a lifesaver for us when Ben was gassy (which was a LOT since he had a milk protein allergy that I didnt figure out for a few months). And Gripe Water helped us way more than the gas drops.
