How was your weekend?
We were crazy busy and it was so hot, but we refrained from turning on the a/c (really proud of this). John got all of the container gardens in and sectioned out, and they are ready to be planted today (if the rain stops) or tomorrow. I can't WAIT for fresh veggies! I finished making the reusable baby wipes that we'll use, they are ugly, but how pretty do @$$ wipes need to be? Now if I can muster the energy to fold and put away laundry tonight I'll feel good.

we moved my brother and his girlfriend from Marerro to Metairie on Friday. I had to cross the Huey P...never gonna cross that bridge again in my life - scary! We went eat at Deanie's in Bucktown afterwards though so that was nice.
Saturday I went to the farmer's market in BR, then to Whole Foods then came on home. DH left for a stone buying trip like an hour after we got back. So I got crawfish for my dinner and made homemade ice cream.
Yesterday i was lazy and bummed around the house.
This weekend was great! Friday DH and I watched a movie and hung around the house.
Saturday I had lunch with my lovely artist friend and his partner. He also had his open studio/moving sale which went really well. I bought 2 small paintings and a lithograph print which I'm thrilled about. All of these are unframed though so now I have some work to do.
Saturday night my sister, her boyfriend, and the baby spent the night at our house so I got lots of fun time with little Alaina. They went to church with us Sunday morning and we got some sushi for lunch.
I did get to change my first cloth diapers and used the cloth wipes. Not nearly as bad as I imagined but I did get pooped on
Your sister is kinda crunchy huh? I'm sorry your niece pooped on you, that is NEVER fun, no matter how cute they are. Is she using the old fashioned ones or the new ones that work like disposables? And BTW have you SEEN how cute they can be? Etsy is a bad place if you start shopping for them
Sister girl is quite crunchy. She's got a pretty wide variety of the diapers - some easier than others. The one I changed was a prefold from green mountain diapers and I consider them to be more on the old fashioned side. She's also got some of the bumgenius and G2 diapers. The covers are smack dab adorable! I never thought I would consider going the cloth route but man are they cute!
