How was everyones weekend?
Re: Weekend Updates
It was great! Me and some friends participated in a small scale "amazing race" style scavenger hunt around Atlanta. Me and my BFF were on a team against Brock and one of his friends. It was soooo much fun! Some of the tasks were:
-Take a picture with a pit bull
- Take a picture taking a shot with a bartender
- Take a picture eating a chilli dog from The Varsity
- Take a picture painting someone's nails in a nail salon
-Take a picture doing the YMCA at the YMCA
We had 2 hours to complete 41 tasks. We would have won but we were 2 minutes late so we were disqualified. We completed 33 of the tasks. Only one other group tied us.

Fri - Went to the Health Fair to pick up my race packet stuff, Eric bought me a cute shirt - it has a turtle and says I'm running! (This is so me!!!) Had dinner out at a new Italian place.
Sat - Errands, & ate a good amount of carbs and went to bed early.
Sun - Woke up extra early, ran a half marathon to the best of my ability - I hit a wall around mile 8 - I was sooooo tired and exhausted by mile 10. I thought my feet were going to fall off. But I finished, when you see the mile marker at 12 - you're almost done! All thoughout the race, spectators & volunteers are cheering you on, so you keep pressing on to finish and it's a beautiful course, too. It takes alot of hard work to do it, I know if I decide to do it again - my two feet can take me there or anywhere. My body was exhausted, I relaxed and recuperated the rest of the day, & I watched The Lovely Bones.
Wow, good job!!! I admire you so much for doing that! And if you did it once, you know you can do it again and I bet it would be easier the next time around.

We did everything we had planned this weekend. Our concert on Saturday went well, although I wasn't happy with how I played. I brought a set of bells home to try to practice one hard part- our wind ensemble is recording some of our pieces in a few weeks and I want to do better for that!
We looked at 7 houses yesterday, really to start getting a picture in our minds of what we want. I think it's going to be hard to find something we both agree on.
But we'll get there. It's funny, we were at a $ disconnect where I wanted to spend more, and out of the 7, DH liked the most expensive one (which was out of both of our price ranges, haha). And 7 was a lot but our realtor is a good friend and she said she knows we are just trying to get a feel right now. It was pretty exhausting, regardless!

You are amazing!!!!
This is the coolest thing ever! We did something like this when I worked with my ad agency years ago. We STILL talk about it and it was in 2001. How cool of you and your friends.
You guys have so much fun! We had a really nice weekend. Michael went to the wedding Friday night and got home realllly late. DH had a book sale on Saturday morning, so Liam and I hung out until he got home, then we all went to the country for lunch. We hit the farm stand/store we love, and got Liam some yummy super fresh milk.
Sunday we did the typical AM shopping routine, then got the little guy a new "big boy" stroller. Michael gets to put that sucker together this week- haha. After his afternoon nap, we drove north to our favorite homemade ice cream shop and Liam had his first taste of ice cream! He LOVED it- kept signing for more and saying "nom nom nom". It was so cute. We grilled Sunday night and that was our weekend!
Friday we went to my CW's MIL's restaurant. It was pretty good and I think everyone had a good time.
Saturday Daniel had to go into the office, so I was left to my own devices for a while. Ate breakfast, went to the grocery store, started laundry, worked out and took a shower. DH scared the crap out of me when he came home early because I wasn't expecting him till later in the evening. Didn't really do much the rest of the day.
Sunday we were laaaaazy. I don't remember even leaving the house. lol
We went to Ocean Crty MD on SAturday and drove back Sunday so that took up most of the weekend. I was so tired from traveling so it was a little hard. Weather was beautiful and Dexter LOVED I mean LOVED the beach! He was so cute playing in the surf. The water was cold but he had to have his feet in it the whole time. It was a great weekend.
Friday we went to a ballroom dance party....I am loving this stuff and Im pretty decent and Im picking up pretty quick! Paul definitely got better this week! lol
Saturday we went to the gym and Amber literally kicked Paul's a$$, he ended up puking and passing out lol lightweight! aahaha...ive pretty much been laughing at him all weekend. It was derby so we went to my grandma's for a party and we both had $2 across the board on Super Saver and I had some $ on the show horse too! It was a great day but I was so exhausted I passed out on my bed with all of my clothes on lol
Yesterday Christy did my hair and then I went and tried on dresses! We went to his moms for a bit and then came home and passed out again....we are leading an exhausting life these days!
Friday night I just hung out at the neighbors. Nice relaxing evening.
Saturday - I didn't do a whole lot during the day. I did some packing, but not much. We went to see the house with my parents before we headed to our concert. There's an annual festival around here called Appleblossom and it's about a 2-ish week event with carnivals, parades, concerts, circus, wine festival, etc. it's fun. We only did the country concert this year and James Otto and Bomshel both performed. I got to meet them both. The girls from Bomshel were AWESOME and totally loved my parents (said they were the coolest parents ever). They hung out at their merch booth which happened to be by us (which was not planned) so we got to hang out with them a lot and joke around it was really cool. My meeting with James Otto was at the very end of the concert so not as much hanging out. He was awesome though.
Sunday - slept in, relaxed in the morning, and then got my butt to work! We cleaned out the garage last week so this week I filled it with boxes (to make moving easier - so it'll take less time for the movers which means less $$ I need to spend ha!). I thought I was going to sweat to death in the 90 degree heat and awful humidity but I got a LOT done. I'll finish up that up this week which will be nice. And I'm almost done packing so that's nice.
