So I'm trying to figure out how the header on my blog. I found a picture that'll work (not exactly what I wanted), but I want a different font (which I believe this template doesn't allow me to select the font.)
I don't have any special software, so I usually just use PowerPoint to throw things together and then save as a JPG.
My thoughts were to add the text to the picture in my header, group it all, and save as a JPG. Only it doesn't work.
Any suggestions? If you can't tell, I kind of got myself in over my head with the whole design part of blogging.
Re: ?? - Creating a picture
I have no idea how blogging design works but I wonder if it needs to be saved as a flash type of extension. Is that even an option?
It accepts standard picture files (JPG, for example), but I can't seem to get the font to show through when saved as a picture.
One of my friends from London said he'd help me if I ever had any questions, but I feel bad asking him to help me.
He gets tons of questions since he's a web designer (kind of like you guys get during tax season, Mel & Val.)
maybe it's the font itself that it's not liking. Did you test to see if a more standard font (i.e. Arial) worked.
I have no idea what I'm talking about though, i like to make stuff up ;o)
Good idea... I'll try the different font!
And hey... why do you think I'm asking?! That's all I do. I completely wing it.
