Help with curtains

So i am having a curtain dilemma in every room . Anyways i am having a dilemma in the dining room which is really in the kitchen. It has doors to the deck so we could buy door panels that are sheer or use curtains. Id rather use curtains i think. Here is the light fixture we want to put in the DR except it will only have 5 lights instead of 6. The kitchen will eventually be painted light green so what do you think of these curtains? I prefer curtains over sheers because the neighbors can look directly through the doors. Also heres a picture of the DR.

I think the black and white design would look nice with the light, but what color is your table?

Were shopping for a table now because we dont have one. We like dark wood furniture, im just wondering how it would look with black. We need a table so bad but we cant find one we like around here.

I'm going to do curtains on our back sliding door too. There's no one behind us to peek in, but I just like the way they look.

PS: We're talking about light green for our kitchen too! I'm just not sure how it'll look with the cabinets and countertops.

You might want to pick Jen's brain since she's the resident decorating expert...but I think if you had a dark table it would look nice! I really like the design of the curtains too. Can I ask where you found them?

. Target also has some but they are only sold online because i went to look for them at the store and they are definately not there. Target's version actually cost more per panel which surprised me.

I really like both the fixture and the curtains!

Our dining room is similar (right down to the neighbors... especially the crazy one... seeing into our house.) We currently have curtains, but are in need of new ones (since the matching curtains we had for the adjacent living room are too short.)

We'd considered doing sheers, but like the privacy of curtains. Since you found ones you like, go with the curtains.

we put these in brown on our kitchen doors. Most people don't like the look of them but they let in enough light but still offer privacy. Maybe you can do something similar by finding coordinating fabric and make your own cinch (don't know what the heck that thing would be called) and use the curtains your mentioned above

I like the curtains but I'd probably go with a black table if I was going to use those curtains.

Cute light fixture! We have those same exact drapes (the ones from Target though) in our office. I think they would look really cute w/ the light green color and that light fixture.

We have curtains on our sliding glass doors. I actually sewed ours because I had something specific in mind that I wanted. I like the curtains and light fixture you have picked out. I think the light green color will look very nice.
