Has anyone ever done a spray tan?
I have a coupon for a free spray tan...it says it's a $20 value so I'm assuming it's the one where you stand in a booth and it sprays you. Any thoughts on it? If I'm leaving on vacation on Sat, what day should I get it done?
Damn you Nest for screwing up my siggy!

Re: Has anyone ever done a spray tan?
I've done the booth spray tan. The quality is hit and miss. The first place I went to was great and I never looked orange because they set it for your skin tone. The second place I went...well, pumpkin is probably the best way to describe how I looked.
It only lasts about 3 to 5 days so if you are leaving on Saturday, I'd get it done the day before.
I'm afraid this is the place my friend used and she came out looking like an oompa loompa...and of course she's not answering her phone right now.
If it's only 3-5 days, I may just do it Thurs...I'm hoping to get my farmers tan filled in naturally by early the following week anyway.

I haven't for the reasons you're concerned about and also any "fake bake" means you risk the weird coloring as it wears off.
Not sure how it works since you'll be tanning while on vacay, so maybe it won't be noticeable, even if you do experience it?
(Do you have any clue as to what I'm talking about? I've talked to some people that do it... it "wearing off" is really your skin's natural cycle. Like it "wears off" as you shed that layer of skin, I think, so if you don't exfoliate - or even some people who do - you can see it kind of flaky looking color. In particular, people have said on their hands, around their heels, etc.)
Thank you. I'm going to go give my coupon to my CW who wants to try it. I'll just rock my farmers tan...much better than orange!

Dumb question - is this something I can get at Target/Wal Mart/etc? I've heard of Clarins before but I can't remember if it's a drugstore brand or not...
