A local church has an annual book sale and this is first year we decided to check it out. We went on Thursday evening and it was a bit overwhelming. There were so many books. It sounded like Thursday morning was chaos it was so crowded, so I am glad it was not too like that Thursday night.
DH had read that prices dropped on Fri and again on Saturday, so we only bought two book on Thursday. I went back today and was there for almost two hours. Books are heavy, especially hard backs, and at one point I was carrying around two paper bags full. It is too bad DH was not there to help me carry things. I had to take a break at one point, it was getting too hot in the main room. I probably could have stayed longer and looked at more, but I was running out of room in my bag and I was tired.
In the end, I am happy with the results.
Thurs - 2 book, $5
Sat - 22 books, $8
