Mine was good! The weather was beautiful, and I got to catch up on some sleep. K and I went furniture shopping and we finally found some stuff for the dining room and bedroom that we really like! On top of that learned that next week is the store's biggest sale of the year, so we are doing measurments & stuff to get ready to buy!!

I may have some D&R posts today... I'm trying to collect lots of ideas!

Ooh pics of the furniture?

I took the plunge myself and ordered our DR set last night. It isn't the highest quality set, but if I can make a crappy little $100 set work for 6 years, I think I can make this one work.

Weekend was good. Ryan was up in Ohio for his grandfather's bday party, so I spent the weekend cleaning the house, cleaning/organizing the closet (and it was a mess before!), etc. I felt so productive! It helped that it was nasty outside all weekend, so I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything.

BUT...now he's freaking STUCK in Ohio! To get back to AL, he'll have to drive right through Nashville which is flooded like crazy right now (turn on the Weather Channel if you haven't seen the madness). His initial plan was to come back today, but he's been delayed until at least tomorrow now. Hopefully he'll get back tomorrow, because I leave out on Saturday for a week, so I want to get to see him before I leave!!

I had a good weekend, except for my heightened blood pressure from having to drive behind "Sunday drivers" on one lane (each direction) highways yesterday. I saw my niece's soccer game, met my nephew, and watched my two nieces run around and play with Rufus for hours! It was the best behaved he's been with kiddos so far. Yay! Yesterday, I rushed home to have a swimming session with my trainer. I think I made some decent progress and am convinced I likely won't drown during my tri in two weeks.

Actually, I am excited it's Monday.

Why? Because today is the beginning of the last week of classes at one of my campuses. I've got 15 total days left until the end of the semester, but this week marks the end of teaching one class (I'm not giving a final), taking one seminar (he's not giving a final, we have presentations Wednesday), and working in the writing center (we're closed during finals week). I'm sooooo close to the end of this semester I can taste/touch/see it, I just don't have it in my grasp yet. To make matters better/worse, my friend who is getting married this summer arrives for a week the day ALL my classes are officially done for her bachelorette party, so I'm all kinds of anxious for May 18th to hurry up and get here!!!

My weekend was good. I went shopping for new scrapbook supplies and then spent the rest of it working/grading.

Good morning! My weekend was low-key. On Saturday, I got up and washed dishes, then DH and I went out for breakfast (my first time leaving the house since Tuesday) and then to the community shred to shred a huge pile of documents we've been meaning to shred. After that, we were going to run some more errands but I started contracting (AGAIN!) so basically was stuck on the couch the rest of the weekend while DH ran errands and did a lot of work around the house. At least the nursery is pretty much done now!

oooh very nice, and awesomely priced!! i didn't realize wallymart had much as far as furniture goes...might have to check that out for some other rooms!

Here is the bedroom set we're looking at. I set up a little style board. The green comforter and "greige" wall color are still up for debate, but very much the style we are going for. And that room also has a little window "nook" so we are hoping to add a cute little storage bench with accent pillows.

Great weekend... we went out to a concert Friday night and randomly got VIP passes -- which led to too many beers since it was included which led to a very, very early Saturday morning when I had to work at 8:00 am. Derby was lots of fun but again too many beers so yesterday was mostly spent recovering. I hit a couple of exactas though so at least I made money for the day.

DH's cousin called yesterday and said they were cleaning out there house and purging all of the baby stuff (since there youngest is now a year old) and that we should come get stuff -- so now I have 2 strollers, bassinet, tons of clothes, a jumper thing, a swing, etc, etc. I dont even know what to do with half of this stuff and there is still at least 1 more carload that we are picking up next weekend. Its going to save us tons of money which is awesome and its all in really good shape but its so wierd to have baby stuff in our house.

I love all of it. We have a similar bed, and the only warning I have is that I am constantly walking into the footboard. The corners on ours are right at my thigh and I bruise myself pretty badly every other month. But, I would have still ordered it.

We have a box spring cover on ours to hide the box spring (since you can't use a bed skirt):

Weekend was good but ending with some excitement. We are at the hopital because it looks like Amelia will make an early appearance! I had pain in my upper stomach that didn't go away so we went in. Blood pressure was sky high with symptoms of pre-eclampsia and since the only cure is delivery, we are waiting on tests to see how urgent things are. They are predicting c-section within the next few days. She looks healthy and my bp has come down so we're good for the moment. More to come!

Mamie -- I'm off the pill so if it happens, it happens - I'll be thrilled. We dont want to officially say we are trying though since there is still the whole unknown of moving, etc in the next 6 months but we both decided that we didnt want to live with our lives on hold and we were just going to do what we wanted.

Thanks! I'm trying not to get too excited about it so that I don't get disappointed but I'm thinking that's not going to work as well now that we have all kinds of baby stuff in the house too.

I'll let ya'll know -- its funny - one of my friends asks me all the time because she's afraid we will keep it a secret and she'll be the last to know. Its funny that she worries about it.
