Re: S/O Wedding Cake
We had a groom's cake, but it was not at the wedding. It was the dessert for the rehearsal dinner.
It was a great coversation piece and tasted delicious.
That's awesome!
That is too funny. Mine was a surprise too.
I loved planning my wedding down to every last detail, but for some reason the cake never interested me. I didn't even want one until I realized the my wedding date was my friend's 25th and my Uncle's 50th birthday. We ended up getting regular birthday cakes for them instead of a wedding cake. All our guests sang happy birthday to them, so it was fun, but we didn't do a cake cutting or anything like that.
So no groom's cake or a wedding cake- just birthday cake

Dude, I was so the opposite! I HATED planning my wedding...it was pure torture.
We had a grooms cake, it was a surprise to DH. It was a Jack Daniels cake that was even Jack flavored! My friend at Sweet Cakes designed it for us, even including our names and wedding date. So yummy!
