Is it Christmas?
What an exciting 2 weeks we have ahead of us. We got our keys last night. First thing DH & FIL do is change the locks. We hauled over a truck load of stuff.
We are just all so excited! MIL got a little emotional. She said my baby is actually all grown up with a house of his own. Aawww it was cute.
This morning I packed up cleaning supplies & my wreath for the front door. Art is going to mow our lawn while I start cleaning.
We met the neighbor from across the street. Very nice lady. They have lived there 23 yrs.

Yes, of course you can help decorate. FIL wanted to paint all the base boards the same color as the wall. DH just does what his dad says. I need help! Men...they dont understand decorating!

I highly recommend bribing your DH to let you make all the final decorating decisions. I can't remember what I gave up in exchange but it is the best thing for my relationship. I listen to Brock's opinion then just do what I want. And he can't say anything because I get the final say. LOL

I let Art have the family room as his man cave. He can decorate that as long as it's nothing permanent. The rest of the house is mine. We have an agreement.....it just doesn't help when his dad throws in his 2 cents. I took it all very well yesterday.
