My DH cracks me up! (Dog related)
So, I had decided to stop talking with DH about dogs...
Today, I get an email from him asking if I was opposed to the Bagel Hound (mix of basset and beagle) vs. the German Shep I posted the other day... I ask why-cause I don't want something that is going to be an annoying barker like our neighbor's dog... This is the reply I got...
I'll put it this way......Vita (the germ shep) was adopted. And it just so happens that someone I may have been in contact with happens to have a bassett beagle mix, not barkie, goes on long (1.5 - 2 hr long treks through the woods), is a young neutered male. has the energy of a beagle, the ears of a bassett. the person I may or may not have contacted has had him over her house and speaks highly of him. actually he may or may not have been suggested as possibly a good fit for our house and lifestyle. I did not ask specifically about this mix, IF i did or didn't contact someone. Again, he was suggested to me, I did not ask about this type of dog. but I may or may not have been told by this person I may or may not have contacted that he does need to be walked. he is crate trained.

I told him we should wait til our vaca's are done and then rethink it... which would be end of July.
Funny, I think he was thinking... AH! I got her birthday gift all figured out!... and then he got shot down.
I kind of got lost in that...but it sounds like he is still up for a dog...possible a specific dog???
