pictures in your house
Esther's question about canvas pictures & where you have them hanging (on TB) got me wondering about this...
The last couple of weeks I have been spending a lot of time reorganizing, moving furniture around, redecorating - things I didn't give a lot of thought to when we moved, because I was neck deep in WR things.
I realized that we have like a bazillion pictures of us. We have lots of pictures of us with friends, family, places, etc. I just thought that it must look weird when people come over - like we are super self absorbed. We really aren't, I just love having our memories out to see every day! 
Now I'm afraid to put up more pictures, though! lol. I don't want our house to look like a gallery of Us. Or do I?

DH is really anti-wall pics & I am the total opposite. We have a hallway at my parents house that everyone calls "the hall of life" b/c its pics of EVERYONE, my family, parents friends, vacations, pets. You name it its up.
I am wait until he's asleep and hang things on the wall. and when he wakes up I act like they have been there forever. I think he dosen't say anything because he dosen't want me to b!tch at him. Or he might believe that little gnomes live in our linen closet and decorate the house while we sleep. who knows...

Well luckily Ted is all about having pictures hung in our house. I didn't grow up with the "hall of life", but he did. I want a "hall of life" in our house, and he likes that also- so we're in agreement on that one.
