The interview was fantastic!! I'm the only one they interviewed and basically the job is mine as long as the boss likes me. I go Thursday for another meeting, this time with the boss and lady that interviewed me(whom I will be replacing). It's almost too good to be true really. They want me to start Monday which was a little faster than I planned so that scares me slightly but it will be a gradual start so a few hours a day for the first week basically until I learn the job (which is the same thing as what I'm in now minus the family aspect). It's basically I set the hours I want so I'm thinking of 7-3:30 that way I can come work for my parents for about 2 hours every evening and not get home really late. They would be fully supportive of me going back to school and working around that schedule if needed. I just want someone to pinch me so I know I am not dreaming. Only downside, if you could call it that is that for the training (about 2 weeks) I wouldn't make full pay just because there would be two of us in the office and to help offset the costs. After that I'd go to normal pay which is $1.50/hr less than what I make now. Bottomline working both jobs for a total of about 50hrs a week I will make about $75 more a week than I do now. Thanks so much for all the positive thoughts! Now I just need to find a way to tell my parents about it.

So it's basically the same work you do now? I'm surprised you'll be able to work at both your parents and this new place - but $75/week more is great!
It's an office manager job and the fact that they are a landscaping firm makes it very similar to mine since I've been in construction all my life. I already know many of the people they work with. I will basically work from 7-3 at the new place and 4-6 for my parents and then a few hours on Saturday if needed. It will be long days but really I'd just be giving up 1 hour of sleep and that's not a big deal to me.
