Soooooooo Ladmo (Lad-dizzle if you will) is turing the big ONE on June 14th! I totally want to throw him a puppy birthday party!
I thought it would be fun to have our friends and their dogs meet us at a dog park to play and then go back to our house for hot dogs and BBQ.
Is this a dumb idea?
Re: All this puppy talk...
I'm all for this, but with one stipulation.
NO GIFTS!!!
I have a friend who threw a bday party for her dog and was really upset at those of us who didn't go. (Sorry, but a dog bday does not take priority over my cousin's baptism.) She was also very angry if someone didn't get her dog a gift.
I love the idea of a BBQ, especially if its dog oriented . . . sounds like a lot of fun!
Woah...yeah...tis just a puppy party...If people come, they come...if they dont, they dont! lol....
For etiquette reasons I wont say no gifts, only because then it will look like we assumed they would be bringing gifts. So yeah, if people come with out gifts, its NBD....Ladmo is spoiled as it is!
I love it. I make a big deal out of my puppies birthdays. They are my children afterall.
Especially with your knack for party planning. It will be adorable.
Ok here is the wording I have for the invitation! Let me know if its lame or needs soemthing else added!
It?s a Paw-ty

But I think this is adorable!!! Although our last pup didn't like other dogs...
Cute idea!
If I had a dog (and was invited) I would definately come!
First let me say that June 14th is a fantastic birthday! Not that I'm partial or anything
Second, I think it's an awesome idea! I would love to be invited to something like this!
Love this idea!! I always love looking at the dog bakery nearby and all the cute special treats they have. I love the invitation too! You're so creative.
I LOVE IT! I wish you lived closer to me so we could come. I always bake Carter a cake on his birthday and eat it myself. I make him some ground chuck (the really fatty kind).
Wrigley acts like its his doggie birthday every day of the year with how spoiled he is, so he gets no celebration. Maybe when he realizes that dogs aren't supposed to rest their heads on pillows at night?
