As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Ernie Harwell passed away today :(
I am so sad about it. Detroit is so fortunate to have had him as the voice of baseball for so many years. I am going to miss that guy!

It was strange because I told my husband that I would shed a tear the day I heard that he passed away and then five minutes later he told me to shed the tear.
He was a great man! Thanks for the memories Ernie!
I saw the announcement scrolling across the bottom of the TV screen
So, so sad.
Very sad. At the end of last season they had a tribute to him at a game and I got all kinds of teary watching the video highlighting him and during the standing ovation he got from the fans when he was standing out on the field before his speech.
Rest in peace Ernie and thank you for the memories.
