We're legal!!!
Received our Marriage Certificate today!! Woot woot! Now I can go to the Social Security office and spend hours there just to get my name changed! Only to follow that up with a visit to the DMV to get my license changed as well. Fun times!!! :: sarcastically speaking ::

The SS office may not be that bad if you go at on off time or a smaller office. I went to a small office & at an off time and I was in and out in 10 minutes.
I am sooo not looking forward to the DMV. The DMV website says that you have to fill out the DL44 (I think it's called that) form, but you have to go to the DMV to get one of those forms because they aren't online. OR you can try to fight with their 24 hour automated system, try to tell and automated system your address, and wait up to 10 days for them to send you the form in the mail. I tried to do that yesterday and the 5th time the automated system couldn't understand me, I hung up. lol. The DMV just always sucks, huh?

I agree with pp. The SS office was really easy, but as usual the DMV was a PITA.
Congratulations!!! That was quick.
Surprisingly our SS office wasn't that bad either. I would suggest that you make an appointment for the DMV. The forms are found right there in the lobby and you could technically fill one out in the amount of time they take to call your number.
