Good morning ladies,
If anyone is get new windows before the tax credit you may want to get a quote soon. In a few weeks there is going to be a $50 fee per window (on older homes) a lead fee, installers will soon have to take alot more measures.
We found a great company (we hope) that is installing anderson silverline windows which qualify for the tax credit for $370 per window. This is $200 less than the best quote I found from Gilkey. We met with them and there is nothing about them that I question, they seem very professional but I can not find any thing about them on BBB and they have no website. I found them in Reach magazine. They are Cincinnait Entry Point based out of Mason. I have a few referrals they gave me to call but I am considering joinging Angie's list to check them out. Does Angies List charge per inquiry or per month?
Re: New Windows- tax credit &angie's list
I believe homeowners can only sign off on the waiver for a few more weeks. We were not able to swing the door purchases with this purchase so when we get our new doors in August we will be paying an additianal $50.
