Is it just me?
Or has all of Nest-land and Bump-land gotten much slower over the past few months? I've been on the boards less and less lately and it seems like the boards just aren't as active as they used to be.

It isn't just you. I think things are generally a lot slower on here.
Not just you. I dont know really why it has slowed down so much. I know most of the old school Nesties say the board isnt as interesting and leave but we are not a drama filled board, nor are we snarky. IDK. And then the newbies that come on - usually get on here introduced themselves and then go away OR they are frightened away.
Its all good - I still love yall. I havent been posting much b.c of the broken ankle - simply b.c I dont get on the computer much at home. But I plan on getting more regular with posting since my 3 month vacation ends next Wednesday.
You aren't alone Sky. I've been busier at work for the last month or so, so my posting isn't nearly what it has been in the past. Though I'm also not usually a conversation "starter" either--so if I don't see any new posts, I don't usually go back to ones I've already responded to.
I do like to check in. It helps me pass my time at work. I enjoy "getting to know you" through our little group. I'm much more of a listener anyway, so I enjoy reading updates--though I'll also admit I don't follow ANY blogs (that could also be a reason as to why there are fewer posts here?)
I dunno the answer, but I would be sad--and would look for another outlet-- if our board (for whatever reason) didn't exist tomorrow. I think the answer might not be the same for everyone, though.
If our board were to not exist I would not look for another outlet. I have known most of the girls for over 6 years now and to go somewhere that I knew no one wouldnt keep my interest. I love reading about anniversaries, birthdays, sad stories, VENTS and the funny happenings that just go on in life. And I hope that the board wakes up a little - b.c I miss yous guys.
i'm mostly on the nat'l boards now for a couple different personal reasons which i won't get into, but i haven't seen a slowdown on the nat'l boards i'm on.
honestly, i think some people have just simply moved on. it was fun for awhile, now that a lot of us have been married 4+ years and are at very different places in our lives (personal and professional) i think that people have left msg. boards behind. i find myself in that group some days, others not so much. lately it's been more leaving it behind.
I feel the same way Charch. Though I can't quite quit it 100% yet....
I don't know about the rest of the boards because I'm almost never on the Natl's, but I do know that this board has been slow for a while now

I agree with Charch and the others that think it's just because most of us have moved on. I've been on this site with you ladies since early 07 and I've had a blast, that's for sure. I miss how things were, but I don't have the magic to fix it so I don't really bring it up.
Aw, now I'm getting all sentimental... I remember when I first got here, I memorized all of you by your siggy pics. Sky, you had Whinny the Pooh and Piglet, Speed had Buddy Jesus, I believe Squesh had a picture of her and her DH on a boat, and there were a lot of others but I won't keep going lol.
It's been hard for me to get on during the days... I just started a new job so I can't be on here while I'm at work, but I try to catch up every evening.
