my thought is that they aren't going to like anything, so you might as well bring them somewhere and be miserable than sit at home and be miserable. At least you will have a distraction out in public.
Re: Help Kasa out
Oh, thanks, MB! Good ideas. I'll have to look into those more.
Suze, they do like coffee actually. We brought MIL some coffee from Hawaii and she loved it, so your suggestion is a good one. We had talked about taking them to Grand Haven, so maybe we could include Spring Lake in that option.
You guys are the best. Seriously.
Just take the Spring Lake exit off of the highway and take M-104 into Grand Haven...Magnum is right on M-104.
Maybe we'll see you there.
Yes! I love having good suggestions. Magnum just recently added 100% Kona to their lineup, too. It is pricey (~$30 for a 1lb bag), but good.
If you come into Spring Lake along M-104 as Chymes suggested, you'll also pass my local wine shop--East Village Wine Shoppe by Ace Hardware and Two Tonys restaurant. EVWS has a nice selection of wines (including MI wines) and they sell Patricia's Chocolates.
You'll also pass the relatively new Spring Lake Library, which has a nice fireplace and comfy couches for hanging out in case you need some quiet time.
Hmmmm... maybe I could pass my inlaws off onto Chymes and then hightail it to the library.
Noooooooooooooooo!
