Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Pissed! Re: YAY post
So after getting all excited and all utilities and deliveries/installs set up for us to close tomorrow I just received word that the seller doesn't have a certificate of occupancy from the village. WTF! So now we're back to closing next week and I have to spend the rest of my day calling all the utilities back again.

We can close on Mon but I don't want to. Now I'm going to make this jerk pay for the property until next Thur. It does me no good to close on Mon since we won't really start moving in until Fri.
So now closing is set up for May 13th at 2PM.
That sucks. Maybe they didn't know they had to get that done? There were things we needed to get done but our REA didn't tell us about them. I found out through the BAH board and talking to other people.
At least you get close next week! I still have over a month to go!

He knew. I spoke with the village last week telling them we were buying the property and they told me the final inspection hadn't been done yet and they would remind him. Well he didn't order it until yesterday.
Val your month will fly by though! You'll be on vacation after next week...and I'd trade places with you in a second!
