Baby Shower Suggestions

Does anyone have any suggestions on location to host a baby shower. I am helping plan a shower and I have no idea on a locations. We are not looking anything fancy ... maybe a hall or club house to rent for a few hours. We would like to prepare and bring in our own food, so we would prefer a kitchen or refrigerator but if not we can make it work. Thanks in advance ladies.

    I think Red Tree Gallery in Hyde Park will let you do that. It's a small art gallery with a coffee kiosk in it.

    this is part of what I do at work. Email me at mindiosu@hotmail.com and I can give you details.  I would do it here, but I'm not sure if that violates any rules, since it is where I work (I don't personally make or benefit from it, so maybe it's ok, but certainly wouldn't want to be reprimanded!).

    I don't know if you have anyone that lives in a community with a nice club house or not but that is what I did for my sister's bridal shower and it worked out great. It's normally cheap to rent since someone must live in the community, and they typically have small kitchen areas.

Grow strong our little Miracle! 9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.      We do have people in communities with centers but we live to far north of town. Her family lives closers to Pleasant Ridge area.
