Feliz Cinco De Mayo! Plans?

Probably not too much for me...I had mexican for lunch, but had completely forgot it was Cinco De Mayo (until I saw the crowd).  For dinner we planned on cooking tacos, but other than that not too much.  It is tough when it falls on a Wed & virgin margaritas really aren't a whole lot of fun!  Stick out tongue

No plans here either =) Not even eating or making Mexican food--it's actually the one cuisine that I don't like, although early in my pregnancy, I was craving burritos everyday but that passed after a month.

Just been busy getting everything prepared for the baby these days. I *just* finished packing my hospital bag today, which is kinda late since everyone says you're supposed to have it ready to go a month ahead of time. Good thing this baby didn't come early, although I think he's getting too comfortable =P

Let's see, we did 2nd grade homework, talked really loud, played with foster kittens, made dinner, showered and are now watching Animal Planet's Rivermonsters. Woohoo! Piranhas!

Oh, I nearly forgot... my H is out of town. On one hand, I miss him. On the other, he just ruined my Mother's Day surprise. My daughter was talking to him on the phone... and was smart enough to go upstairs to talk about Mother's Day. When she gives the phone back, he says, "What does she mean, can we water the pansies? Is that something she did at school for Mother's Day?"

Can I have a virtual hug or virtual mojito?

  • my bff was in town for a couple of days - I drove her up to Seattle so she could spend the night there with some other friends and be closer to the airport.  We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant by my college for lunch.  YUM.  It really wasn't planned but the fact it was Cinco de Mayo made our restaurant decision easier b/c our other favorite place is a Greek restaurant
