i don't remember seeing kate's name in the cave, and why was it crossed out?
sayid good guy in the end, he didn't kill des and he scraficed himself for the rest
oh and the finale is now going to be 2.5 hours now!

I haven't seen it yet (yes, I did see that there were spoilers - no biggie). But I knew that Sayid didn't kill Desmond. I just knew it. And 2 1/2 hours for the finale? Good grief! It's longer than a movie is! At least there are commercials for potty breaks. LOL!
We probably won't watch the finale Sunday the 23rd (coming back fom DC and we go to bed early...and it's our anniversary ;o) but we will probably watch it Monday.
i was pretty sure that Des was still alive too!
yes 2.5 hours- that's not including the 2 hours clip show/review before the finale and the 1 hr special with Jimmy Kimmel after! and don't forget they are re showing the two part pilot that saturday night!! that's 7.5 hours of Lost!!!
i'm a huge Lost fan and i should be so super happy about all the lost that weekend but it's my son's 1st birthday on the 23rd! grrrrr... apparently ABC didn't get the memo!! his party is on the saturday so at least i can watch the finale on sunday with some peace & quiet
Loved it! So sad about Sun and Jin but so glad they didn't show it in detail. Sayid being good...I had that feeling when he didn't kill Des because I just knew it.?
I'm wondering if this is just a weird chess game between the two. Jacob and Black Smoke. Like how many people can Jacob get on the island and make him believe what he wants and how many can Black Smoke convert or kill. They both seem to not be able to kill people directly, each other as well.
I'm curious is Jacob is really dead because his ghost child is there. I hope they don't muck up the end because I have been watching this since the very first episode on tv years and years ago. I want a good ending!?
ha ha i love lost but i feel like Elaine in that Seinfled episide where she lost the free sub card and she wanted the free sub after eating all the bad subs! i love the show and the ride we've been on but i've given the side eye to some of the things the writers have done to just wrap things up. and it seems more & more that some things they threw in over the years will probably not get explained and that bums me out
I yelled "NO" when Sayid ran with the bomb. Although, I knew something was up when Locke handed Jack the backpack and Jack easily threw Locke in the water.
I fear everyone but Jack will die by the end.......... or it will end up that Smokey is defeated and then they all end up back on the plane AGAIN before it crashes...
One thing that has been driving me crazy is the son that Jack has... How the heck is that possible??? It was NEVER mentionerd in the flashbacks that Jack had a son, so how the heck does he suddenly have a son in the flash sideways???

I think it's so lame that Jin didn't even consider the daughter he has waiting for him at home. I'm sorry, your kids come first even if you've never met them.
Personally I thought the episode was horrible. Very predictable and melodramatic. I'm so ready for it to be over.
i missed FLock giving Jack the backpack; i also missed Jin walking by Jack in the hospital, and most of what Sayid said to Jack before the big boom. and since i missed all this during only one hour because of my two boys i fear i will miss countless amounts of good stuff during the 2.5 hours of the finale...
as far a sideways world goes there are a lot of things that stayed the same and a lot of things that are different- and not different just because they landed and didn't crash but there are major differences that occured before they even got on the plane- like Jack's son, the reason for Lock being in the wheel chair, Sawyer & Miles as cops, Jin & Sun are not married and she is pregnant, Hurley is lucky, not cursed and was never in a mental institution. , and i'm not sure what it all means. not crashing certainly explains why life would be different for all those involved once they land as that part of their lives has not been 'written' yet but the major differences that have been shown to us prior to boarding the plane is puzzeling
I'm thinking all of this sideways business is more because the bomb when off in 1970-something and so Desmond never had to keep hitting that button every 38 minutes (or however long it was). That would explain why their lives went in different directions from before. Jack's son, Hurley never being in a hospital, Sawyer and Miles being cops, all that would have started long before their flight at the beginning of this season. Because the bomb in the 70's went off, all of their lives took different directions. But still, why would Desmond have run Locke over with his car?
Ugh, it's too early for questions like these. Haha.

as far as Desmond hitting Lock, after his encounter with Charlie, Daniel Faraday/Whitmore & Penny in sideways world he is trying to bring everyone together to get them to realize that this world isn't right. that's why he wanted the 815 manifest and went back to see Hurley, Clair, and Lock. what all this will acomplish i have no idea!
This! I was so mad that they both died. Neither of them mentioned their daughter- that's insane! I realize Jin has never met her and therefore doesn't have as strong a connection but Sun should have said something about him living so that their little girl had someone. I cried so hard for her.
