Has anyone been to Switzerland?

It looks like we have the opportunity to go to Geneva, Switzerland for 3-4 weeks.  Curtis volunteered to do some training for work and they are going to rent us an apartment for the month.  I am super excited and nervous!

Has anyone ever been to Switzerland?  Or any of the neighbouring countries?  Any suggestions on what we should do? Any tips on the city?  Getting around the city?  Going from country to country with the baby?

Has anyone traveled overseas with a baby?  Charlotte has already been on a plane, but only to Florida, so no time difference.  I am nervous about dealing with the long flight and then the time difference.  Any tips?

Thanks!

That sounds like areally amazing opportunity! I am not much help, I'm afraid, but my SIL was there a few year ago and she loved it. She did several walking tours of different historical areas, and visited a few art galleries. Maybe try the travel board, the gals over there are super helpful...lots of globetrotters!
  • If you haven't already post this on the travel board. You will get butt loads of help.
  • I have, but I was like 12 so I don't have any recs on where to go or where to stay. I'm not even sure what cities we went to but I remember it was beautiful! Have fun! I'm jealous :)

  • I would definitely go to Jungfrau region and into the mountains.  Also check out Lecerne as well.

Depending on how much you want to travel you could go to Germany, italy, and france
