So exciting!!!

Well I had a very exhausting 3 day weekend, but oh so exciting!!!

We got the keys to our new home on Friday so I spent Sat, Sun and Monday cleaning. We are all settled in. We brought out all of our wedding gifts and put them away (mostly kitchen stuff) so now we have a fully stocked and functional kitchen. We also bought our new bedroom set. I'm soooo in love with it! Now need to buy a dining room set and a living room set. The formal living room and the 3 other bedrooms will have to wait!

I will try to post pics when I get home if I manage to get on here!

Yay!  Congrats!  I want to see pics!  You haven't posted any on FB either. :( Post pics of the bedroom set as well.  We've been looking for one but can't find one we like.  We may just get the bed and install really nice closet packages with drawers instead of have dressers.

  • Congrats! I think you have already gotten more done then us and we have been here over 2 months.
  • Yay! Congratulations!

Kasi-she posted a kitchen pic on FB. And it's a lovely kitchen :)

  • Thanks everyone. Like Jojo said I've only posted the kitchen picture because it was on my phone. I need to get one of those memory stick pro things so I can download pics to my computer. It's a pain in the butt, but as soon as I get it, i'll download pics and post.

Kasi, I'll take a pic with my phone tonight and show u

All that takes time.  I've been in my house over a year and we're still not fully furnished or decorated nor is the backyard landscaped.  We barely got around to working on the front yard.

  • the living room and kitchen are fully furnished and liveable and we got tvs so that's all that matters! lol

I just want the backyard done because it gets a lil windy out here and the dirt gets trapped in my window railings! and my house gets super dusty cause I open the windows. So i really really want to get that done.

Other than that, everything else can wait. :)

  • Yes, I love the kitchen! Are you neighbors with Raquel?

We had the same problem with dirt in the windows and I thought it would go away after we did our cement, but behind our house is a golf course so it's basically a dirt field and the dust isn't going away for me. I am constantly vacuuming inside the windows and the sliding glass door. It is so irritating having it there!

  • I know what you mean, I feel like a madwoman with the kirby, vacuuming the window rails! lol

Raquel isn't super close to me, she said she's closer to the 10 and I'm up by Sierra Lakes, but she's always in my area! I have yet to run in to her! :)
