So I am going to an "Around the House" bridal shower. Our invitation has: bedroom as the room we are suppose to bring gifts for. Everything on the registry is over $50 for the bedroom, and honestly- I just want to take something cute- but not $50 worth, and even that would only be the "top sheet". I got two mongrammed pillow cases. Any other ideas for a little something to add to the gift?
Re: Bridal Shower gift help
I agree with Elissaann-- to go with the monogrammed pillow cases, what about two pillows? I've seen some at Kohls that aren't the worst at $5 each. And one can never have enough pillows!!
If you don't want to do that, perhaps one of those cooling eye masks--you can usually find some at TJ Maxx or Marshalls for $10 or less. OR, perhaps you could embroider a little door pillow (you know a pillow that has string that hangs from your door knob) that says something funny like "if the room is a rocking don't come knocking" or "newlyweds--privacy please." You know, just something fun and cute and playful--but not in too naughty a way, just in case Grandma Pearl isn't into all that.
