I am hooked and bringing DH along with me.
We haven't been able to watch an entire 2 hour episode but we've seen everything that's out one hour at a time. Actually we went from the end of the pioneers/begining of the independence to the civil war and then went back to the middle part there. haha But I'm still really interested in everything and I'm finding out so many things that I didn't know.
DH and I are also having fun quizzing each other on all the history we can remember from our American History class back in High School.
I think it'll be fun when they get to more current history too. I can't wait to here about the 60's and 70's and the Space Program.
Anyone else hooked or am I the only dorky one here?
Re: Anyone watching America: The Story of Us?
I've heard good things about this show so I flipped it on last night for a bit. It was excellent! They had the author(Jeannette Walls) of this months book club book on too!
I need to set the DVR to record this now since I have trouble staying awake past 9pm!
