Hubby's new gig!

Something must be in the ND water this week...first Sarah/ladybird and Esther DHs and now mine...

...Jordan got a job at United airlines!!  Ok here'a little backstory that I'm sure will be long b/c I can't tell stories in short order, I try, but I fail.  My brother  for United on the ramp/luggage slinging (as I like to call it.) at O'Hare  Right before we went to Seattle my mom calls and says that United had told my brother that they are interviewing for more part-time/seasonal ramp/luggage slingers and that they are telling employees first about it before the post it to the public.

So Jordan applies, you know, let's see what happens.  The day after we get back from Seattle they call him for an interview.  His interview was yesterday at 1130a and they called him back a few hours later and offered him the job!  My hubs can rock an interview, he said the 2 people he interviewed with really liked him!  He goes back today to fill out paperwork, fingerprints, drug test, etc.  It's only 20-25 hours/week (mostly weekends) for the summer but it does have the possibility of turning into a full time job (my bro started the same way and is now full time.)

Jordan will get awesome benefits -- free flying baby!  So as of right now, he's still going to finish up his EMT course (done next Wed.) and take the national certification test sometime in June and look for an EMT job...see what bites on that front.  And still do part-time at Caribou.  It's going to be a busy summer for him, but he couldn't be more excited!  So am I!

See, told you that wasn't going to be short.  You get a big bowl of cookies and cream ice cream if you made it through :)
