Got a black eye yesterday...
from my 100lb lab mix.
I was running late getting home from work yesterday. When I got in the door I ran upstairs to change so I could get to my riding lesson on time. I came back downstairs to the front door to grab the leashes to take the dogs out. Well when I bent down he came rushing towards me, I guess because I hadn't said hello to him yet, and WAM!, right into the right side of my face. I yelled, said a few choice words, and then instant tears from the pain. Of course I yelled at him and then felt bad afterwards because he wasn't really trying to hurt me.
To make a long story short while I am off this summer I think he and I are going to be attending some obedience classes. I'm realizing now that he's is no longer a little puppy but an 100lb dog that without manners could accidently hurt someone. Off to Doggie school we go!

Ouch! Sorry about the black eye! Jumping is the one habit I've never been able to break Sam of. It is like he has a spring built into his butt and as soon as he sees you he bounces up and whacks you on the nose before you know it. He is better if you get down to his level and give him some love.

Yes they are! My newest dog-niece is called DD or Devil Dog (not really her name-which is Dahlia), but that's what her mommy calls her. She's mischiveous (sp).
I swear he did! When I got home from riding he walked up to me so slowly and then the whole night all he wanted to do was lean against me.

We go to the Petsmart classes...the teachers have all been soooo awesome...I just have a very very stuborn pup. If you dont pass the class they let you take it again for free! Dont know if you have a petsmart near you or not.
