Can you recommend a restaraunt in the theatre district?

It's for a bachelorette party. We're going to Jacques Cabaret later that night so I'd like something close by. Thanks!

Re: Can you recommend a restaraunt in the theatre district?

  • You're almost right down the street from Post 390 which is a great new bar/restaurant that opened up on Stuart St. In the theater district area, there's either Chinatown or chain restaurants (California Pizza Kitchen, Rock Bottom). Are you looking for fun/hip/trendy? One of my faves for bachelorette parties is Sonsie on Newbury St., if you don't mind going that far. There is Market at the W that just opened up right in the Theatre District. I guess it's a hot spot; a friend of mine went there for lunch and liked it.
  • Hip and trendy isn't important. We're more laid back and casual :)

I'll check those all out, thank you so much!

  • I'd go to Maggiano's. It's nicer than a typical chain, so it's special for a bach party, but they can accomodate large groups, and it's really easy to order with them that way because they do family style. And the food is awesome.

I had my bach party at Jacques ... we went to Ivy on Temple Street. It's a great restaurant. It's within walking distance from Jacques-- granted we had a limo and he got lost from here to there and we almost missed Jacques, but it's definitely walkable!

Maggiano's is also a great suggestion-- we went for a bachelorette party and had so much leftover food. It was a bummer that we couldn't take it home. If you go there, split dishes-- so much food!

  • It's not casual, but its amazingly good. Try Bina Osteria--right in the theatre district. There is a review on my blog here.
