Speedway is an adjustment for me, but that's because I'm from Franklin (southernish Johnson County). I love the history of Speedway and the houses are definitely cute. We live on Auburn (about a block or two off Main Street) and I really like our neighborhood. Our neighbors are super friendly and the houses here are great. They're older homes, but they are full of charm. There are a few for sale close to us, so you should check out the homes around Auburn/10th Street/Winton.
I'm glad to know there's another West side (ish) Nestie
