What's your average CC bill?
We pay our cc off in full every month, but we use it for pretty much everything. The exception is bills/mortgage. I have a feeling we spend WAY too much money a month. Just curious if we are out of control, or if we're normal like others. Our typical bill is $2.5-3k a month. Just looking at that figure makes me think we need to work on a budget.

I'm roughly the same as you. Your balance on the card at the close of the month is shown on your credit report and it doesn't distinguish that you pay it off every month or carry it over. Depending on how much of your available credit that is, it can impact your score.
When applying for our mortgage, my credit report said I was using too much of my available credit (which negatively impacted my score) while DH's was fine.
We don't have an average credit card bill because we hardly ever use them. We only really use credit cards if we make a big purchase (like the vacation we just paid for, and my insane shopping spree lol), but when that happens, it's always paid off at the end of the month in full.
Our regular living expenses are between $3-4k per month.

This makes me feel a tad better. I do think we need to cut out eating out so much or stop doing impulse shopping. Thanks for the info!

We use our CC for everything except mortgage, my car payment, electric and insurance. Those bills amount to about $1600 now that we've paid off DH's car. Additionally we have another $350ish in bills that hit the CC (cable, gym membership, etc.).
On top of that we spend about $1500 a month on groceries, gas, restaurants, and entertainment. Seems like every other month or so we end up going on a weekend trip or something that requires plane tickets or hotel rooms or something so the charges go up another $500 or so. Our bills have been slightly higher the last few months because DH is driving a lot for work so we've been spending in excess of $500 a month on gas but its getting reiumbursed just about a month delay and I dont know the exact break out.
I feel like we spend too much money most months too but we also are putting $100 a paycheck into savings plus another deposit at least equal to double DH's car payment (since we were paying that before to get it paid off). Essentially I figure if we are putting away $1000+ a month we are doing pretty good so I dont need to worry about it too much but I know there are places we could cut back too.

We don't use our credit cards for anything, mainly because we are working to pay them off. We recently bought a washer/dryer/fridge on a Sears one and got our entire upstairs carpeted which we put on a CC, but we're paying that off immediately once we get our tax return back.
Our monthly expenses are about $6K including our mortgage so I am going to estimate that if we put everything else on a credit card our bill would be about $4000 per month (including what we're paying to pay off our CC). Once we pay off our credit cards completely we plan on opening a new CC with rewards and using our CCs to pay for everything. I think it's a really good way to track your spending as long as you pay it off in full every month.
