Friday Poll!!! Movies you hate
What popular movies do you hate? Movies that the world went crazy over, but you think it sucks.
Mine....I hate the Matrix and Gladiator. I think Keanu Reeves and Russell Crowe are the worst actors. Sure, the movies had good special effects but when the script is CRAP, there's no saving it!

I totally gasped at many of these in aghast disagreement! Not Twilight though... I'm pretty sure those movies suck and I haven't seen any of them.
I HATE any Nicholas Sparks movies. The only one I've seen is The Notebook and it was horrible. Somehow the book was even worse! I read the book first thinking I'd like the movie but it read like a bad screenplay/young adult novel. So cheesy and icky.
Also hate anything with Andie MacDowell. She ruins every movie she's in.

The twilight movies. . . loved the books, but hated the movies. They were so low budget, bad acting - I couldnt get into it.
omgggggg THIS. Nicholas Sparks in any form makes me want to get stabby. If one more person tries to tell me how The Notebook is the ultimate love story I am going to throw an egg at them. Have you read that interview he did with Miley Cyrus where he compared himself favorably to Shakespeare and the classic Greek poets? I'm trying to figure out how I can clone him, he'll be too busy making out with and professing undying love to himself to ever write again. What a tool.

OMG, this! I was trying to think of a movie that I absolutely hate, I couldn't think of any. until you mentioned ND. I watched it at a friend's house where everyone had already seen it so they would laugh before the "joke." I still didn't get it even after said "joke" supposedly happened.
I think you need to be stoned to enjoy that movie.
Ditto this! I also hated Meet Joe Black and the Matrix movies and The Princess Bride.
Oh, and most recently, I absolutely loathed Nine.
