Another Holy crap moment!
No...it's not twins! lol But shockingly, we received an offer on our house today (after 10 months of it being on the market...ooh, and lowering the price $30,000). =/ I called DH at work and he said to accept the offer (which is ultimately $10,000 less than we paid for it almost 2 1/2 years ago), but we just want to unload it. We've been paying $2,200 a month for a 2 bedroom, glorified apartment (no yard, to basement). Not that I'm knocking a 2 bedroom apartment...'cause that looks to be what we'll be moving into and probably spending $1,000 less a month than we already do. We plan to rent for a year or so...we don't want to rush into another house the way we did this one. The next one we buy will need to be lived in by us for at least 20 years...so DH says I'd better really like it. lol Anyway, the kicker is this guy wants to close by June 30th. =/ So, that doesn't give us much time to pack and find an apartment that will accept us and our 4 wonderful kitties (I hope everyone else thinks they're wonderful lol). To be continued...
