ok refresh my memory RE: strawberry cake
OK So Ambrosia's strawberry cake...it's been years since I've had it but just remember it was fabulous.
It seems like it was a yellow cake with icing with fresh strawberries in it? Is that right? What was the icing like? Was it more of a whipped cream icing or a cream cheese? I can't remember! I'm going to try to concoct something similar to it this weekend.

yellow cake with whipped cream as the icing - very thinly sliced strawberries stirred into it.
