Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Anyone got anything interesting going on for the weekend?
My weekend plans / mini update:
DH and I are headed to a friend's place tonight for a Cinco do Mayo party. Then tomorrow is DH's aunt's birthday so we will do dinner with her and spend the day with MIL in the meantime. Sunday brunch with MIL for mothers day and then we will head back here.
We had the kids at the day care paint terra cotta pots and we put marigolds in there. We also took their pics, stuck them on green paper and used gold glitter glue to make them have halos. We wrote "garden angel" on them and stuck them to a popsicle stick and put them in the pot with the flower. We painted "happy mother's day 2010" on the pots.
Some of the moms got teary eyed when their kids gave them to them!
In other news I have had a cold since Saturday at the conference I was at. its to the point today that i can't taste anything! And today our bosses bought pizza for lunch and gave us a tray of cookies (for teacher appreciation week) and I couldn't even taste the peanut butter cookies! I couldn't even taste a lemon head candy and those are not mild in any way! ugh! I don't know what else to take to make it go away... maybe the spicy food tonight will clear my sinuses so I can taste and smell again!

Aww thanks Jenny! Although I definitely don't *feel* like a mom yet, its still exciting!
We are going to my parents to celebrate my dad's birthday (tomorrow) and Mother's Day (Sunday). Then Kevin is going to Canada for a couple days for work so I have to stay here alone with the crap neighbors.
