Well, she's still in the hospital. They did some kind of test today, and scored a 6 out of 8, which I guess is good, but wasn't good enough to send her home. Baby seems to be doing better - or at least we're presuming so since we haven't heard otherwise. They're going to keep her overnight tonight, and test her again in the morning - if she gets an 8 out of 8, she can go home.
So, much better than yesterday, but we're still on pins and needles waiting to hear if something happens. She had been on bed-rest before this happened, but she's not very good at following it. Hopefully this will help her stay focused on getting rest, but I know she hates it b/c she's a SAHM with a 1 1/2 yr old needing and wanting attention, and to be held and played with.
Chances are they're probably going to end up scheduling a c-section later this month or next unless something happens where they have to deliver him before then, due to her risks and other complications. Now crossing fingers baby will stay in a little bit longer!
Re: Update on Sister/baby
T&P that the little one stays put for a little while longer.
Just a little bit longer, LO....
T&P that everything goes fine! I'm sure your sister's itching to get home and be with the 1 1/2 yr old, but sounds like she's where she should be...
Keep cooking little one!
The 6 of 8 thing is either a bio-physical profile or non stress test...not sure which one scores like that - but they are tests that measure how the baby is doing on the inside. If the score drops too low, it is usually safer on the outside.

Thanks Softskate - it was the bio-physical. I think the score they were worried about was baby's movement.
Little update - she scored an 8/8 on her test yesterday morning, so she's now home from the hospital :-). Thanks ladies!
