For inquiring minds that want to know (Lori)...

Next Saturday M is throwing a big celebration/party/gathering thing at a place up in NH for the guys at his work.  It's to show his appreciation for all the hard work/time they've put in to get this job done.  Like him, they all have families they've spent lots of time away from (working 12 hour days, 7 days a week, sometimes longer) so he just wants to make sure they really see his appreciation as their boss.  It's being catered and everything and I, being the brilliant wife that I am, came up with the idea of getting a cake done, like a submarine (that's what they work on).  I love Cake Boss and I found a local baker who does carved cakes just like that, you can see her site here and I can't freakin' wait to see what it comes out to look like!  I gave her a picture of the boat they were working on so she had some visual to use.

And, lets face it, I'm ready to get my party on.
